Just last week this stunning lakeside mansion sold in Kelowna, BC, attracting attention in the luxury market. June 25 was the unreserved live auction with 9 bidders, which was held through the Garage Sale Luxury Auction House and resulted in one of the Okanagan’s highest sales in the past 5 years. Assisting in the auction was the Coldwell Banker Jane Hoffman Group, well known for its activity in Canada’s luxury market.

Selling for $4.7 million, Nautica Vista, is located on 2.55 acres in the Sheerwater development, Kelowna’s premiere gated lakefront community. It offers stunning hillside views, but is only steps away from a private moorage which provides the perfect means for accessing Lake Okanagan.

The home itself is 6,400 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. In floor-heating is found throughout, making it comfortable during those cooler winter months. Details and furnishing of the home were carefully planned and hold some resemblance to the yacht sharing its namesake. Inside, “fir beam construction weaves mahogany maple detailing while anchor chain fills the main rare sequio grey quartzite fireplace” (LuxuryHomes). The home is also fully furnished and features over 100 designer furniture pieces. Its warm west coast theme offers an assortment of designer leather, polished wood, chrome and luxury textiles. Further features include an elegant kitchen with luxury commercial grade appliances, an air cooking space, luxury spa and infinity pool, yoga studio, hot tub, 1,200 bottle wine cave and over 5000 square feet of deck space.

Nautica Vista is also fully equipped with the latest luxury technology. It has a Crestron automation system, and the ability to use your iPhone or iPad to control various aspects of the home. An energy efficient three-bay garage is able to power an electric vehicle. There is even a private screening room which features theater seating and projection imaging and an adjoining room has six fifty-inch flat panel displays to form a media control center.

The Garage Sale Luxury Auction House also runs charity auctions and in addition to their success with the Nautica Vista last week, the firm also “scored big with its Charity Auction, raising over $48,000 for the KGH Foundation and over $18,000 for The Canadian Red Cross to help flood relief victims in Calgary, AB” (Wall Street Journal). The Garage Sale Luxury Auction House’s targeted sales and marketing campaigns have been attracting global interests, drawing in more luxury buyers and agents with every success, they are certainly a firm to keep an eye out for in the future!
