The Garage Sale Luxury Auction House (TGS) went above and beyond for their community with the events surrounding the unreserved auction of Nautica Vista – a fully furnished contemporary west coast lake view luxury estate – which sold on June 25th for $4.7 million. Even more impressive than the sale of the property was their generosity. Fifty percent of all ticket sales form the live auction event and 100% of the funds raised during the over-the-top charity auction were donated to the KGH Foundation.

A grand total of $54,000 will go toward the purchase of equipment in the new Interior Heart & Surgical Centre (IHSC) currently being built at the Kelowna General Hospital. Thanks to all of the attendees at the Nautica Vista live auction event and the lucky winning bidders of the auction packages. The IHSC is one step closer to opening fully outfitted with critical state-of-the-art equipment and the support it needs to change lives.

“We are so grateful to the team at The Garage Sale for involving us with such a stunning and exciting event,” says Doug Rankmore, CEO of the KGH Foundation. “They put together an incredible charity auction and because of their hard work and dedication to our community, patient care will be improved at KGH”.

Alex Lambert adds “The KGH Foundation has been a pleasure to work with. We admire the fact that they support multiple initiatives within the community and we are pleased to be associated with such a well organized foundation and a great cause”.

Stay tuned for The Garage Sale’s next luxury property auction, scheduled to hit the block on October 24th, 2013 in Kelowna, B.C.
